It takes a village to raise a child.

I work with children, preteens and teenagers as a mentor, guide, and ally to build sturdy foundations in their formative years. This helps them to establish their own code of ethics and navigate the experiences life has in store for them with confidence and compassion. I regularly plan “Adventure Days” for clients or hour+ long sessions together.

The natural world should be a child’s best friend, not a phone or tablet. Nature serves as a dynamic backdrop for connection, offering a calming and grounding environment that facilitates emotional exploration and healing. Through activities like hiking, gardening, or wildlife observation, I encourage a sense of wonder, curiosity, and resilience.

I support them to be sovereign decision makers and apply concepts in real-life situations. Whether it's overcoming obstacles on a nature trail, learning outdoor skills, or navigating interpersonal challenges during group activities, children gain valuable insights and perspectives that promote personal growth and expansion.

My interest in working with youth began when I was a teenager myself. While I was earning my Eagle Scout, I opted to become a Troop Guide, showing the ropes to the new members of our group. I weave together themes of change, transition, communication development and service in a rite of passage setting for my clients.
